Khudi Ram Bose was sentence to death by British during freedom struggle. In the eve of fateful day, the jail attendant gave him a mango to eat. The next morning when he was being taken to gallon, the attendant saw that the mango as it is. On enquiry, Khudi Ram told that he had no heart to eat it. The attendant seeing the coming event understood it. But when he took it to throw, he was surprised to see that it was eaten totally from inside & Khudi Ram made it in the same shape after eating it just to tease the attendant.
He was the man who was enjoying the life just before the death. He knew the message of Lord Krishna that “The sprit of a man never dies only the body dies”. He has not read it but experienced it. And such HEROES are who gave us freedom.
Let ask us ourself. Are we worthy of this freedom? If yes, then what we are doing to retain it & what we are adding to this freedom for next generation?
